While you enjoy and live a happy life throughout your age. In the end when it comes to old age it becomes difficult to live a stable life. Look at the old generation around you. They are either struggling with lots of pain and sorrow, Loss of memory or their partner, or separated from their family members. Families don’t take good care of them in the end.
Saktipada Mishra, a 70 year old man from a remote village in Odisha was dumped by his family. Similarly Tejaswini Mandal, a 65 year old who lost her husband was also abandoned by her sons. She was left alone in the village while her sons lived in big cities.
Tejaswini sold earthen pots for her leaving and one day she met Saktipada. The duo were broken however they started liking each other’s company. Soon a fire rose in their heart and they found love and companionship among each other.
After a few months Saktipada expressed his feelings to Tejaswini. The duo tied knots in Jagannath Temple along with a small ceremony.
Subhash Das, a local lawyer said, Saktipada did a fantastic job of remarrying a person who is just like him. He also highlighted saying, after the demise of Saktipada, his property will be inherited by his wife.

Although it is the Children’s responsibility to take care of their elderly parents. Legal actions can be taken if parents are mistreated in the house. Parents can freely evict the child from their house if they misbehave according to section 7 and 15 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007.
