A 23-YO Medical Student Delivers The Baby On A Moving Train While Mother Is The Labour

A 23-year old, Swathi Reddy is a resident of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. She is currently pursuing her final year at the GITAM medical college. This young medical student has gained a lot of fans from her recent achievements all over the internet.

As per the recent news, Swathi helped Srikakulam, a 28-year old lady, deliver her baby while travelling. The woman gave birth to a baby girl on the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Suronto Express. While the pregnant woman was travelling along with her husband from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam in the AC compartment, Luciky Swathi coincidentally met Srikakulam’s husband.

Swathi says, “This is the first delivery that she has carried out all on her own. She was quite nervous and anxious. She highlighted that she was worried when the placenta was there for 45 minutes. However, it was a relief after the delivery of the baby. Two on-duty cops also helped Swathi during this period. The baby was born at 5:35 am. Later, the parents of the new born named their baby after Swathi as a sweet gesture.
