We want women to take up all the opportunities equal to men. Particularly women must do jobs where they are rarely seen in. For example, Laxmi Jadhav has become the first woman driver for Mumbai’s BEST Bus. This 42-year-old was also the first woman to receive an autorickshaw permit from Wadala RTO in 2016.

Jadhav says, she was curious about driving since she was a kid. Laxmi voluntarily learned how to drive luxury cars like BMW and Mercedes even after having multiple jobs. Obviously, Mrs. Jadhav is very determined on making a relaxed life for her dear ones and herself. And so she registered in Dindoshi depot to learn to drive BEST buses. Finally, she got her license in 2019.

“I believed that driving BEST buses would provide a regular income and a provident fund.”

Indeed, Laxmi Jadhav is an incredibly brave person and is a role model for all women.

Insydfeed Salutes Laxmi for her great work.
