A Kerala Man Dies During His Skateboard Journey From Kanyakumari To Kashmir

Anas Hajas, a resident of venjaramoodu in Thirvananthapuram, Kerala. The man started his 3511 km long journey from kanyakumari to kashmir in his skateboard on 29th May. Unfortunately he met with an accident on tuesday at 7:30 am in Haryana.

Ram Karan, an Investigation officer from Pinjore police station said, Anas was on his skateboards while a truck came and hit him from behind. However, the locals have noted the truck details and informed the police. People took Anas to the nearest government hospital. But the doctor in Kalka hospital declared he was dead”

On 30 July Anas posted a video telling it would just take 15 days for him to rech kashmir. As he was just 600 km away from Kashmir and is now just travelling 50-60 km Per day. He thanks everyone in the video which was posted after crossing Haryana Punjab border and said he was all safe.

Anas is a computer science graduate. He worked in an IT firm of Thiruvananthapuram’s Technopark. This man wanted to bring awareness about skating. He also planned to go to Bhutan, Cambodia and nepal post his Kanyakumari to kashmir trip.

This was an unplanned trip where he dint inform his friends or family earlier. He had just carried two pairs of clothes along with shoes and a helmet. initially Anas covered 100km per ay but after consultation he slowed down. Anas’s father Aliyarkunji works in Saudi Arabia and his mother is Shaila Beevi who supports him.
