Doctors don’t receive the kind of respect that they deserve. They are blamed if something goes wrong with the patient. The patients’ relatives show impatience and frequently accuse the doctors. They reckon that doctors aren’t doing their job properly and they are being betrayed.
Nothing is all white or all black in this world. Everything is in a shade of grey. Though there might be some doctors who aren’t doing their work properly, it doesn’t mean that all doctors are the same.
Some people became doctors for the welfare of the people. There are some doctors whose primary purpose is to make their patients go back to their normal life. The kind and hard-working doctors not only treat the patients who step into their hospital but they also keep their eyes open wherever they go. They are always on the lookout.
One such doctor has come into view recently.
My dad saved a life. We happen to be at IKEA Bangalore where someone had an attack and had no pulse. Dad worked on him for more than 10 mins and revived him. Lucky guy that a trained orthopedic surgeon was shopping in the next lane. Doctors are a blessing. Respect !!! pic.twitter.com/QXpXTMBOya

Rohit Dak’s father is a well-trained orthopaedic surgeon. On one fine day, they both went shopping at IKEA Bangalore. Amidst their shopping, they heard some chaos across the lane. They got to know that a man had fallen unconscious and his pulse had dropped.
They scurried to the other lane and Rohit’s father began doing CPR on the man. Even when there was no hope of the man getting his consciousness back, the doctor didn’t lose hope and went on with his job for 10 minutes to save a life. Soon after, the man regained consciousness.
Rohit posted this video on Twitter and wrote,

People on the comment page were loaded with immense praise for the doctor and thanked him for saving a life. Some people even stated that it is time that everyone should learn to do CPR in an emergency. It should be added to the curriculum to teach the students about CPR, fire fighting, first aid, and all.
