The Zomato chief executive Deepinder Goyal had initiated this policy to encourage women empowerment and accept the work culture in Zomato. It will be available for all the women and transgender employees working.
He also mentioned that there shouldn’t be any stigma or shame on applying for the period leave. And feel free to tell people on the internal groups that the employee is on a period leave. He also added that women employees can complain if any harassment takes place and immediate action would be taken against them.
Here's to making Zomato a little more inclusive every day. Thank you to all the women leaders at Zomato for driving this change. https://t.co/K2l9287QBj
