Every relationship has 2 sides to it. It can either go amazingly well or it can end in ugly fights. The latter was the case of a couple in Yogyakarta in Indonesia. A 25-year-old woman allegedly tried to murder her ex-boyfriend. She tried to do this by sending poisoned food to his home. However, this resulted in the death of a 10-year-old.
The woman named Nani Aprilliani Nurjaman added cyanide, which is a deadly poison, to the meal and arranged for a motorcycle taxi driver to deliver the meal. She asked the driver to tell Tomy, who was her ex-boyfriend, that the food was sent by someone called Hamid.
The 47-year-old driver, named Bandiamn was ordered to deliver the package to Tomy’s home in Bantul, Yogyakarta. When he reached his home he wasn’t there. His wife opened the door but refused the package as she didn’t know anyone named Hamid. So, she told the delivery guy to take it home and eat it at the time of breaking his Ramadan fast.
Unfortunately, Bandiamn obeyed this and it resulted in his wife and son vomiting right after eating the food. Both mother and son were taken to the hospital immediately, Bandiman’s wife responded well to the treatment provided. But, their 10-year-old son Naba Faiz Prasetya couldn’t handle the poison and its effects.
This was immediately informed to the police. The cops traced back the meal to Nurjaman and suspected that she wanted to kill Tomy because he married another woman. The police have taken her into custody. She may face the death penalty once proven guilty.
A failed relationship can cause a major heartbreak but murder isn’t the answer. Nurjaman’s hasty actions have resulted in the loss of an innocent 10-year-old boy.
