"I Dedicate My Promotion To My Parents" Says A Vegetable Vendor's Daughter

All of us would have gone through hard times some of us are still going through. Despite being highly educated some of us are not ready to bring our parents in front of the crowd why?

In India most of the middle class families tend to educate their children. They want their children to dream big. Some are making sure their dreams are fulfilled by their kids no matter where they come from.

Have you ever imagined a vegetable seller’s kid to be a manager in an MNC. Stop thinking too much. Why are you having a second though. Yes she can definitely be the Manager of an MNC. Also in case she desires to become the partner she can be the partner of that MNC as well.

Here is a story of Madhu Priya, who is the daughter of a vegetable vendor. She is a first generation learner and the first girl in the entire family to be educated.

She says she belongs to a middle class family and her parents are vegetable vendors. She is the first one to hold a Master’s degree and get placed through campus. Besides this she is also the first mother who is working in an MNC and has been promoted from a Sr.HR Associate to an Associate Manager.

She recalls her school days and says her Mother would be the last one to come to school to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings. She graduated along with businessmen, celebrities and some big shots children. Her mother once said she would intentionally come late so that her daughter should never feel bad about her occupation or her friends should never tease her. But Madhya always wanted to introduce her mother to her friends .

She wants to thank her Mother for encouraging her throughout her life and constantly being her support system. She proudly says that she is A Vegetable vendor’s daughter to the World. She also says she is far ahead and better than what her friends and neighbours think she would be.
