Education and Ambition
However, Vijay had a blazing aim to make a change in life. He was the leading performer at school. He grew up in a drought-prone village with high poverty levels and very little development. And he was always determined to become a doctor. He got a college seat to continue MBBS. But he had to drop this goal due to his family’s financial problems.
Vijay Said,
“We lived in poverty, and I was in need to start earning immediately. I wasn’t able to afford the 7-8 years career in the medical profession. We needed to take a huge loan. Any loss would have meant tragedy for the family”
How Vijay Cracked UPSC:
He cracked UPSC CSE in his first attempt in 2012. And earned the rank of an IAS officer. As he is still struggled with English, he chose to give the exam in Marathi. This made all the practice harder since only a few study material was available in that language. But, as they say, fortune favours the brave.
Vijay’s first posting as an IAS officer was in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district. Now he lives with his proud parents. And resumes working proactively towards changing Odisha. The list of IAS Vijay Kulange’s ambitions is a very lengthy one. However, he wears this praise lightly.
Insydfeed wishes Vijay good luck and success in his career.
