Several people prefer to refrain from specific meals. They follow a vegetarian diet during a festive period of Navratri as a sign of purity. Fasting is a symbol of devotion to the deity. Along with beautiful pandals, colourful idols, and garba night, this is a major feature of Navratri.
IPS Officer Arun Bothra, who was fasting for Navratri, also skipped refreshments on his IndiGo flight. However, a cabin crew member named Purvi provided him a vrat-friendly (fasting) items such as sabudana chips, til tikki, and tea. When IPS Bothra offered to pay for the dinner, she politely declined and stated that she, too, was fasting.
IPS Bothra posted on Twitter as said,
Mother Divine takes care of you in different forms. Today she came as Purvi, an @IndiGo6E crew member.
