As Indians our culture, religion, society are higher than anything. We all live in a Patriarchal society where males are given more importance than females.
There are a few things that women always Hide.
Is it okay for a female to hide things rather than men knowing they exist?
1) Bra Strap
Like every man wears a vest, women wear a bra. At least we don’t put in on display with low waist jeans just cause it’s Jockey! Even if it’s a Calvin Klein the strap is taboo.
When will we normalize no gender stereotypes?
2) Body Hair
Men want us to look natural but you need to hide your body hair by waxing, threading, or shaving your skin.
3) Sanitary pads
Why do women have to always hide the sanitary napkins all the way from the store to the bin? It is okay for the napkins to be displayed in public but it’s embarrassing when men peeped it in your trolley.
4) Period stains
How do you feel asking your female friend to constantly check your white skirts during your periods?
Although getting periods is natural Young girls feel miserable when people stare at them if there are stains on their clothes.
5) Contraceptive pills and pregnancy test kits
Abortion is illegal that we know, but dare say a woman buys contraceptive pills and pregnancy kits to avoid all this! The chemist looks at you as if you have an association with some terrorist.
You know it’s okay for a man to pee anywhere in Public. But, see a woman breastfeed her hungry little angel. People start calling her sinful!
We mean LOL! Dudes be staring at the same cleavage that their mothers rush us to hide. Cause definitely the woman’s fault. It has nothing to do with how this man was raised you see!
8) Sexual history
As per society norms, a woman is supposed to hide her sexual history or experience.
When a man has sex with more than one girl, he is called Macho! say the same for a woman she would be labeled a sl*t!
Have you ever experienced buying a condom at the chemist shop? It’s worse than buying sanitary napkins.
People look at you as if you just got a murder weapon!
Y’all what’s the point of hiding things that we all know exist?
Every man and woman should be given freedom and “no judgment” as far as they don’t harm others.
