Maari Film Director Confirms His Secret Marriage With Tamil Actress, And Files Case Against Another Actress 

Balaji Mohan, a new generation director known after making the blockbuster movie “Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi”. He also made a movie starring Dulquer Salmaan which was a huge success. After the success of 2 consecutive movies, he worked with Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal for Maari. He produced a national award winning movie ‘Mandela’ which had Yogi Babu in the leading role. 

The director fell in love and got married to Aruna. However he later got divorced with her. After a few weeks he was seen with Actress Dhanya Balakrishna whom he had secretly married. In an interview with TV actress Kalpika Ganesh it was found that the director was controlling his wife. And not allowing her to do promotions or even act in her signed movies. 

 While Balaji Mohan has filed a petition in The Madras High Court stating, 

“I’m a director and I have directed a lot of films from Fall in Love, Maari to Maari 2. I also got married to an actress like Dhanya Balakrishna. She has worked for films like ‘Raja Rani’ and ‘7 aam Arivu’. However our life got disrupted after a Telangana actress released a web series about our personal life and marriage. She shared this online and spread defamation about our life”.

Balaji Mohan has asked the court to ban Kalpika Ganesh as she is making defamatory comments against his personal life. He has already sought one crore rupees for the damages caused to him post defame. The hearing in the court was before Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy. Where Advocate Vijayan Subramanian argued on behalf of the petitioners.

However the judge ordered a protective order to Kalpika ganesha for making defamatory comments about the directors personal life. The court has ordered to respond to the petition before 20th Jan and adjourn the hearing.
