The Tamil film industry is filled with celebrity siblings, and one such example is the pair of Mohan Raja and Jayam Ravi. One is a talented director, and the other is a versatile actor. The duo has always made successful blockbusters in the industry. Recently, these two have delivered “Thani Oruvan”, an action thriller movie together.
Ravi and Raja are in the process of planning a sequel to Thani Oruvan. However, there is no official update about the release or the launch of the project. As per the background talks, it is said that Mohan Raja and Jayam Ravi are waiting for Thani Oruvan to happen once they are done with their other commitments.
During the trailer launch of Soppana Sundari, Mohan Raja was questioned about the launch of Thani Oruvan 2. Following which, Mohan Raja replied, “The movie is set to release at the end of this year or early next year. Fans are all over the moon after hearing this news.

Kollywood Queen Nayanthara and Jayam Ravi will be seen in the movie in their original roles. Vels Films Internationals will likely be producing the movie. It’s time for all the fans to gear up until official confirmation of the release date.
