Forget about paying costly rent, security deposits, and living a good life in Bengaluru. Apartment hunting is a difficult task that might drain one’s bank account. Like you have see autorickshaws, cabs, and bike taxis are pricey in India’s Silicon Valley. As a result, a person looking for a flat and travelling from one location to another ends up spending a significant amount of money on transport alone. On top of that, there is the fee for the broker who is showing you around.
Now firms and brokers are developing apartment-hunting packages that include a choice of vehicle, pick-up and drop-off services to show places.
Sunil Singh, the creator of Realty Corps in Bengaluru, for example, has been holding a “orientation programme” for tenants. Apartment hunting packages begin at Rs 10,000. You can choose from a variety of car options, ranging from hatchbacks to sedans. Prospective tenants are picked up from their home and dropped off at their destination after viewing properties.
The package also includes visits to popular city attractions such as stores and restaurants, as well as visits to surrounding schools. There are business packages that include airport pick-up, but they are more expensive.
This is due to businesses resuming work from the office. Because of the inflow of personnel in the city, everyone is looking for an apartment. Rent has also risen. Earlier, a 2 BHK in a standalone building in a place like Whitefield used to cost Rs 25,000 as rent. Prices have now risen to Rs 35,000-Rs 38,000.
