This Cancer Patient Attends Job Interview While Undergoing His Chemotherapy Session In The Hospital

A photo that was shared on LinkedIn recently, has crashed hearts with many users. It depicts a man on a hospital bed sitting before a laptop. While he was appearing for his interview in the middle of chemotherapy.  The post was published by Arsh Nandan Prasad from Jharkhand. He is the one who is battling cancer.

In his post, Prasad said that the photo was of him appearing for an interview during one of his chemotherapy sessions. He has the #Opentowork badge on LinkedIn that told about his efforts of getting a job due to his health issue.

He shared a picture of himself attending an interview while sitting on a hospital bed for a session of chemotherapy. Mr. Prasad’s post saw hundreds rallying behind the “warrior”. His post got viral instantly with many praising his boldness and others offering words of motivation and aid.  Prasad also wrote: “When you give your best in the interviews but are rejected for the mere fact that you are going through a wild patch in life clearly shows how great these companies are.

“I inform my recruiters that I’m fighting cancer, suddenly I can see the change in their expressions. I don’t need your pity!! I’m here to establish myself.”

Arsh soon saw a job offer come in from Nilesh Satpute who is the founder and CEO of Maharashtra-based tech company Applied Cloud Computing. Mr. Satpute asked Mr. Prasad to quit searching for jobs and resume his therapy. He named him a “warrior” and told him to join his company whenever he is fit to join. “There will be no interview,” Mr. Satpute added.
