As he ask While it’s always a hectic job to shift or find a new house no matter which city you live in. But in a recent incident a man got rejected by brokers in Bengaluru. Guess why?
While finding a house is just equal to finding a new job in bengaluru. Before renting a house, they not only your family background, native, food habits, and our relationship status. But your college degree and linkedIn profile is also verified.
This seems to look unbelievable until a man reports about the incident to the media. Priyansh Jain, a man looking for a single occupancy flat was shocked after being rejected by brokers. As he does not hold a degree from reputed institutions like IIT and IIM
Check out some of the screenshots Priyansh shared of different brokers just to find a house in Bengaluru.
When Priyansh enquired about a flat through facebook. A broker asked for his work profile even after saying he was a Software Engineer in an Australian software company. Can you believe he had to share his Linkedin profile.
In another scenario, another broker started questioning him about his background. While Priyansh said he is a vegetarian and works in Atlassian. He further enquired about his college. So Priyansh answered saying he was an engineering graduate from a reputed institution in Vellore. He is single, vegetarian and a graduate from VIT vellore. However the broker wasn’t happy.
After all the struggles Priyansh got rejected multiple times. As a lot of owners preferred people who have studied in IIMs and IITs. They were either looking for Chartered Accountants or graduates from ISB.
While the world is getting strict on renting people. Some things look strange when people only look for IIMs and IITs while there are various reputed institutions.
