Two Friends Separated During 1947 Independence, Reunite After 74 Years At Kartarpur Corridor

We would have been amazed to see the two tigers get united In the movie ‘two brothers’. The tale of reunion is always touching and emotional when the two have a strong and long-lasting bond. It is common to see families get united and lost lovers get united. But it’s very uncommon to see friends get united which makes us more emotional.

In 1947, Sardar Gopal Singh from India and Mohammad Basheer from Pakistan got split up during the partition. On account of the opening of the Kartarpur Corridor, these two friends got united.

They both were overwhelmed with joy and happiness as their eyes were filled with tears to see each other after such a long time. They embraced each other and shared their love. Gopal Singh is now 94 years old and Mohammad Basheer is 91 years old.

Their reunion was greatly talked about by the news channel Pakistan dawn. They said that the two friends reminisced about their childhood and their times together. When they were young they both used to visit the Guru Nanak’s, Gurudwara, and had lunch and tea together before the partition.

The incident was highly spoken about on the social media
